- Oh, it multitasks under 3.1 too. Doesn't mean that it is useful or
- good. Task priorities do not exist though, Windows apps switch tasks
- explicitely and DOS apps are timesliced. And since DOS apps have no
- idea about tasking they usually busy wait on the users input. Windows
- takes a rough guess wether an app is waiting and then stops it for
- a few seconds. That's to ensure that other tasks still get CPU time
- but it makes all DOS boxes but the active one sluggish.
